After 1 year of exclusive online courses, we could successfully start again our LOW3: Living Zero! Course with a first in-person session at the campus. This is great news, as meeting, discussing, measuring, and experimenting are essential activities of the course which require the experimental environment of our LOW3 solar house.
The course is fully booked with 20 participants and many Erasmus students giving the course once again an international dimension.
The house was fully opened, measuring CO2 concentration and wind speed for cross ventilation to assure a safe environment for all.
Housing, Energy and Lifestyle are again the main topics, supported by the 6 online Learning Modules of the course on sustainability, sustainable housing, solar technologies (PV and solar thermal), materials, and water.
The course is held in English, and its mixed online and in-person format is in times of COVID for sure an interesting format to explore also for other courses.
