Sota la direcció de Torsten Masseck, un grup de 13 estudiants de Grau Universitari i Màster en Arquitectura i també de Física de la construcció, desenvolupava idees innovadores per l’ integració de HOME+ a la docència i la recerca, i per l’ impuls d’activitats d’ innovació al campus.
La col•laboració es realitzava gràcies al programa “Lehre hoch n”
finançat pel Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Fundació per a
la Ciència Alemanya), del qual el director del projecte HOME+, Prof.
Jan Cremers de la HfT , es Fellow.
HOME+ ha participat en 2010, juntament amb el LOW3, al Solar Decathlon
Europe i desprès de 2 anys ha trobat el seu lloc al campus de Stuttgart.
Està encaminat un primer projecte de recerca en col•lectores
fotovoltaics tèrmics (PVT), però encara no hi ha un concepte holístic
per la seva implantació com a laboratori viu als terrenys de la
universitat.
Sota les preguntes claus de “Què i com aprenem avui” i mitjançant
tècniques de brainstoriming col•lectiu i activitats de co-creació al
seminari, es generaven mapes conceptuals de possibles sinergies entre
HOME+ com a laboratori viu d’ arquitectura i tecnologia i les activitats
de docència existents de la HfT.
Amb una presentació final i una excursió a les cases solars de la
Universitat de Darmstadt concloïa aquesta col•laboració entre HfT i
ETSAV en el camp dels Living Labs però, segurament, no acaba aquí.
Els estudiants de Stuttgart ja van mostrar interès en viure uns dies al
Living Lab LOW3 per experimentar un estil de vida sostenible sota el sol
mediterrani! La mostra del documental “Visc-a LOW3” aportava el seu
granet...

April 2013 Living Lab LOW3 collaborated with the Technical University of
Stuttgart (HfT - Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart) through a
interdisciplinary seminar with the aim to develop living lab strategies
for the prototype solar house HOME+ of HfT.
Under the direction of Torsten Masseck, a team of 13 Bachelor and Master students from Architecture as well as Building Physics developed innovative ideas for the integration of HOME+ into teaching and research as well as innovation activities at the campus.
The collaboration was made possible due to the “Lehre hoch n” program financed by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (German Science Foundation), of which the director of HOME+, Prof. Jan Cremers of HfT, is a Fellow.
HOME+ participated in 2010 together with LOW3 in the Solar Decathlon Europe competition and found after 2 years its place at the campus at Stuttgart. A first research project on Photovoltaic Thermal Collectors (PVT) has started, but a holistic concept for its implementation as a living laboratory at university ground is still missing.
Under the main questions “What and how do we learn today” and applying collective brainstorming techniques as well as co-creation activities in the seminar, conceptual maps were generated to show possible synergies between HOME+ as living laboratory for architecture and technology and the existing educational activities at HfT.
With a final presentation and a visit to the two Solar Decathon Houses of Darmstadt University finished this fruitful collaboration between HfT and ETSAV in the field of Living Labs, although this will not mean an end point in any case. The Students of Stuttgart showed a mayor interest in living some days at Living Lab LOW3 to experiment a more sustainable lifestyle under Mediterranean sun! The projection of the documentary “Live-at LOW3” might have contributed to this desire...
