Under the
theme “Creative Transition towards Sustainability” the 6th
Sustainable Summer School took place at the Living Lab LOW3 of UPC-Barcelona
Tech from 3d to 5th of November 2014.
13 international PhD students, 6 academic team members and 6 invited experts contributed to a successful 3-days event at the ETSAV campus at Sant Cugat.

The
pluridisciplinary approach of the workshop, with designers, architects,
engineers, sociologists and economists among the participants, led to intense
discussions and fruitful conversations about the technologic, socio-economic,
sociologic and environmental aspects of sustainability. Individual research
topics were presented and discussed.
